GIRONA OF XVI CENTURY

At this time we all feel like a little vacation, of rest and relaxation….and then I for one thing I follow a little trip with my eyes and the mind in this place with an ancient flavor

The’ Spanish architect Anna Noguera oversaw the renovation of a 16th century building in the historic center of Girona, in Spain. The result is a beautifully balanced mix of old and new where the sober and clean, however, fail to maintain the warmth of history.

“The Badiu” (The Veranda) is a duplex apartment 180 square meters on two floors and you can book it which from € 140 a € 200 night for 2 people, depending on the season.

Take your cue from : The recovery of the stone wall that creates continuity between inside and outside broken only by the large window, The fireplace inside / outside, the mirror as an unusual decoration for the wall of the porch to create the illusion of an opening, the bed of the room raised above useful drawers, The beautiful wooden door-to-ceiling tailored flowing on the ancient wall.
