CONNEMARA: A BOX OF GLASS SCALE

I want to live here! Maybe not 365 days a year. But it's my dream… green meadows, Irish sky and the scent of the northern seas!

It is an original conversion of two rural buildings almost reduced to ruins in a single family house. The architectural firm Peter Law Associates has taken care of this restructuring accurate . The result is a beautiful building that enhances the contrast between the comfortable interior and the rugged nature of the surrounding landscape.

Le due case seppure molto vicine e parallele non erano sulla stessa linea e la scelta del collegamento in vetro è stata dettata dalla volontà dello studio di mantenere idealmente separati nel paesaggio gli edifici. And thus was born this space totally glazed acts as the entrance and stairwell. The transparency of the passage is underlined by minimal steps cantilevered concrete and glass balustrade.

Another element of a break with tradition is the porch of the dining area through the door with total opening allows you to extend the house outside on a sunny day.

Prendete spunto da: the beautiful veranda in front of the living area, scale concrete and glass, the superb mix of past and present .

    Really Superb!

Also we are looking for a house on top of a hill (precisely for 365 days a year, however,)… and hope to find something so spectacular that combines the past and the future!
